Being Anita

Being Anita explores the relationship between identity and artificial intelligence, questioning the risks of a technology capable not only of replicating a person’s appearance, but also their thinking and behavior. Starting from the digital cloning of a real individual—created with limited resources and in a short time—the project reveals how AI can learn from data and reproduce human logical mechanisms.

The experience invites reflection on the control of the information we share online, highlighting the fragility of the boundary between real and digital identity and raising ethical issues related to privacy, profiling, and data management. Being Anita does not simply showcase the potential of AI, but calls for critical awareness: understanding these tools is essential in order to govern them, rather than be governed by them.
